 So, it's story time and I had someone drop this by............

Once upon a time, I attended another “Christian” private university in... There were four of us in a room – two nerds and two ordinary guys. I was known as Italian. The other nerd was known as Photoshop. The other two were Jimmy and Butta. Jimmy loved to play Pro Evolution Soccer. However, his laptop wasn't fast enough to play the game smoothly. One day, as I returned from class in the afternoon, I opened my door and found three huge security men in the room. They ordered us to open our lockers for a thorough search. They didn't find what they were looking for and left. After the search, I found out what had happened. The previous night, Photoshop used his 17 inch Toshiba laptop 2GB ram for work. However, the next morning, his laptop was so sluggish he ran some diagnostics. He discovered that 2GB had become 1GB. How come?

My wedding (Repost)

I always pictured that my wedding will be like every other Nigerian wedding. The aso ebi, loud live band, the variety of food, the beautiful decorations in the hall, friends, family and strangers all having a good time. However, my wedding turned out to be the opposite of what I hoped and imagined. It was just the two of us, no other person involved and it was the happiest day of my entire existence.

My lover, you know makes me happy; he is the best thing that ever happened to me. I was one of those good girls who did everything ‘good’ but always ended up been hurt, disappointed and abandoned.

"Secret" a.k.a Law of attraction, is the idea that because of our connection with a “universal energy force,” our thoughts and feelings have the ability to manipulate this energy force to our liking. According to the secret, our thoughts and feelings attract a corresponding energy to ourselves. If our thoughts are negative, we attract negative things. If our feelings are positive, we attract positive things. The essential message is that we all have the power to determine our own destiny. We can all create our own reality. Through fully and consistently applying the “secret,” we can be who we want to be and have everything we want to have.

When you come home for Christmas

She was probably joking but it was something I reflected on. "When you come home for Christmas, come with someone".

Subconsciously, I had been checking men out but since I was meeting them while working (offering services), it's been strictly professional but deep down would hope I run into them after. I wonder how meeting them after was meant to work as I'm very anti-social...lol.

Anyway, to my disappointment, I got a call back from one. One who automatically thought he ruled my life without me agreeing to date him. It was creepy, confusing and annoying. Probably he was looking for a Christmas girlfriend too. Then I realized I had been missing my reason for the season. My Christmas was beginning to be about having a serious relationship, the type you spend holidays with. It was about romance and the little things we call love. Definitely, I was wrong!

Sacrificial love is the reason for the season.

God is a god of abundance! He wants to pour out His abundance on you until you are so full that you are running over with His goodness. Notice how this verse starts. It says, “Give, and it will be given to you.” That’s because your giving sets the blessing of God into motion in your life. Giving is like a seed. When you plant an apple seed, it doesn’t just grow a single fruit. That one seed grows into a tree that produces an abundance of apples! That’s what happens when you obey God in your giving. You receive an abundant harvest in return. It’s overflowing, literally “running over!” And when the blessing is running over, it means you have so much that you want to give more. The cycle just keeps repeating itself! Is there something the Lord is telling you to give today? It could be financial, material or even your talents and service to others.

What do you have in your hand that you can use to bless someone else? Take a step today and set the blessing of God into motion in your life. Open the door for His blessing to be running over in every area of your life today!

Father, I choose to obey Your Word. I choose to be a tither and a giver. I choose to obey Your word and step out in faith knowing that every seed I sow will come back in abundance in Jesus’ name! Amen.

When you are upset, you say a lot of things that you probably don't mean and when the phase is over, you want to be forgiven, you pray that the person you said those words to let's them go.

Personally, it pains me when someone doesn't let go of whatever it is that is hurting them that another human (especially me) caused. Even if the person doesn't ask for forgiveness, letting it go frees your mind.

Ephesians 4:32 NIV

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Now if I ask for forgiveness more than 7 times, do I still deserve your forgiveness?

Matthew 18:21 KJV

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

Matthew 18:22 KJV

Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Seventy times 7 is 490. Now if someone "sins" against you 490 times, then that must be the person's sole purpose in life ..lol. And for you to keep so many scores, you're jobless and don't know what to do with your life 😒 (lol)

Let's forgive one another, let's love another so we can proudly say the Lord's prayer.

P.S. - I know forgiving could be hard, that's why we ourselves should try not to piss people off. Don't talk when you're angry and treat everyone like you would like to be treated. God bless 😘
